Collecting data on the scene.
The all-new Hard Rock Data Recovery X1 puts phone and computer extractions in the hands of the officers already there, so victims and witnesses can keep their devices and investigations keep moving.
Are you still coming by tonight?

One install. Two tools.
X1 collects the evidence. The HRDR Reader lets you review it and build the report. Both install together from a single setup and run on a standard Windows laptop.
X1 Acquisition
Guided, step-by-step extraction built for officers, not lab specialists.
- iPhone backups, including encrypted backups
- Android messages, call logs, contacts, calendar and media
- Computer drives and storage, read-only
- SHA-256 hashing and a full audit log on every collection
HRDR Reader
Review everything recovered, organized by the app it came from.
- Messages as conversations, with deleted items flagged
- Calls, Safari history, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Health and locations
- Photos, videos, voicemail and voice memos
- Portable report you can print or save as PDF
Get the evidence. Hand the phone back.
Taking a victim's or witness's phone for weeks hurts cooperation and backs up the lab. X1 lets the first officer on scene collect what's needed and return the device the same day.
Plug the phone into the patrol laptop and open X1.
X1 walks the officer through the extraction.
Every file is hashed and logged automatically.
The owner keeps their device. The evidence goes to the case.
The best time to collect is right now.
Modern phones shut off USB data access once they've been locked for a while. An iPhone's USB Restricted Mode blocks data after about an hour, and newer Android phones add similar protections. By the time a seized phone reaches the lab, the window is often closed. With X1, the officer on scene collects in minutes while the owner is present and the phone can still be unlocked.
Collection requires the owner's consent or other legal authority, and the device passcode. The old way vs. X1.
Same evidence. A very different experience for the officer, the lab and the person whose phone it is.
Traditional lab extraction
Phone is seized and sent off
X1 on scene
Evidence collected where it happened
Evidence that holds up.
Every collection is documented from the moment the device is connected, so your report can stand up to questions from the defense.
